The Story of SEVA Cornhole

SEVA Cornhole officially launched in March 2021, but our story began years earlier. What started as two men building cornhole boards in their backyards and overseas duty stations has grown into a thriving business with a loyal community—driven by passion, precision, and a love for the game.

Meet the Founders

◄Brooks Miller–An Air Force veteran with 20 years of active-duty service, Brooks brings the USAF’s core values of Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do into every aspect of SEVA Cornhole. His journey began in 2006 while stationed in Japan, where ordering boards was nearly impossible. Out of necessity—and a love for cornhole—he began building boards and bags, quickly spreading the game to friends and fellow service members overseas.

▼BJ Turner – A former land surveyor with a passion for precision and craftsmanship, BJ started building boards as a backyard hobby. With an eye for detail and a love for working with his hands, he combined his cornhole passion with a desire to serve his local community, building boards and selling them to friends and neighbors.

By 2020, fate brought Brooks and BJ together in Virginia, just 20 miles apart. Both were struggling to keep up with demand, as players loved their products. They began helping each other fulfill orders, and soon realized they’d built something special—so they partnered to create SEVA Cornhole.

Our Mission & Values

SEVA Cornhole was never born out of a business plan to “get rich.” It was built from hobby, passion, and community. While SEVA is now our full-time profession and how we support our families, our foundation remains the same:
